This course studies the science and technology of current and future energy sources along with associated environmental problems and societal response. Areas covered include: energy productions, consumption, efficient usage, fossil fuels, nuclear, solar, other renewables, risks, benefits, planning, and economics.
The classes follow and "inside out" teaching model, in which students watch lecture videos at home. In class, time is dedicated to questions, discussions, and group work.
